Mendocino Forest Products requires each of our supply chain partners to utilize the best possible forest management practices. Our primary log supplier, sister company Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC (MRC) continually sets the highest standard for our supply chain, by maintaining environmental certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). FSC Certification demonstrates MRC's commitment to operate under the toughest environmental and commercial forestry standards endorsed by the nation's leading environmental organizations.
When you purchase Redwood products from MFP, we reinvest a portion of every dollar to plant new redwood trees for future generations.
Each year, MFP supplies roughly 220 million board feet of lumber products plus vinyl, wood-plastic composite and aluminum products to more than 240 Home Depot stores in our market area. Our company provides a variety of sustainable forest products including redwood, Douglas-fir, pine and hem-fir for the modern retail environment using state-of-the-art lumber manufacturing and distribution technologies.
