Ukiah Saw Mill
Stewardship through Modern Milling Operations
MFP complements its network of supply chain partners with its own advanced sawmill in Ukiah, California. Consisting of a small-log sawmill, a planing mill, a fencing production line and a series of dry kilns, the 120 acre sawmill complex is the manufacturing hub for Mendocino Forest Products.
Product lines produced include decking, fencing and dimension lumber. The mill complex incorporates a large air yard and several large dry kilns to convert a substantial portion of the "green" production into dry lumber. In addition, both green and dry lumber are transferred to the planing mill for surfacing, grading, sorting and packaging.
