Posts and Rails
For your fence posts and rails, MFP recommends using either redwood or pressure-treated lumber with Wolmanized® Outdoor®.

Redwood Rails
2x4 redwood rails are available¹ in the following grades and dimensions:
 Treated Fence Rails
MFP offers¹ a Wolmanized® Outdoor® 2x4 fence rail (actual 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" ± 1/8") treated to above ground specifications² in an 8' length.
Grooved Redwood Fence Rails
For certain styles of fence, the fence boards are fitted into a slot or groove in top and bottom rails. MFP offers¹ 3 specialty redwood rails in 8' lengths for this style of fence:
 Speciality Rails
For ranch-style fences, MFP offers1 a 1"x6" untreated Hem-Fir corral board in 16' length. Painted corral boards offer an easy, low cost ranch fence solution.
Fence Posts:
Redwood Fence Posts
Redwood fence posts are available¹ in the following grades and dimensions:
 Grooved Redwood Fence Post
MFP offers¹ a 4"x4" (actual 3-3/8" x 3-3/8") 8' surfaced (smooth 4 sides) fence post that is grooved on two opposite sides to allow a fence board to slot into the post.
Treated Fence Posts
MFP offers¹ fence posts treated to Ground-Contact specifications³ in the following dimensions:

Warranty and handling information for Wolmanized® Outdoor® lumber is available at the Wolmanized® Outdoor® wood website. Note that the product warranty is voided if Wolmanized® Outdoor® wood is cut, unless all cut ends and bore holes are properly coated at the time of construction with a suitable wood preservative, such as Wolmanized® Wood End Cut Solution, containing a minimum of 1% copper.
