Richard Higgenbottom
Hired in 1999 as President/CEO for Mendocino Forest Products Company, LLC and Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC. His prior experience is primarily in the automotive parts industry, most recently as a Lean Manufacturing and Marketing consultant. Richard has held various operations, engineering and full P&L responsibility positions with companies servicing both the Original Equipment Manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket. He has a B.S. in Industrial Technology, College of Engineering, Tennessee Technological University.
Michael A. Benetti
Hired in 2004 as Senior Vice President of Operations for Mendocino Forest Products Company, LLC. His prior operating experiences were as a First Tier supplier to the OEM automotive companies, a cedar saw mill operation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, as well as a supplier to the automotive aftermarket. Mike has been involved in lean manufacturing processes, distribution, material and human resource planning. He has a B.A. from Western Connecticut State University, and a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Industrial Labor Relations from the University of New Haven.
John Russell
Joined Mendocino Forest Products Company, LLC when the company was created in 1998. John has held a number of positions within the company including Sales Manager, Director of Distribution and currently Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He began his career at Wisconsin California Forest Product and then moved to Louisiana Pacific where he transitioned with the sale of LP's western assets to Mendocino Forest Products. John holds a B.A. degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
