Deck Accessories
To add a touch of elegance to your new deck, choose from the following accessories:
Balusters
Redwood balusters provide an attractive, durable and sturdy component of a deck railing. MFP balusters are available¹ in 3-foot length in a square style and in a turned style. MFP also offers a baluster with beveled ends in 32 inch and 4-foot lengths. All MFP balusters are based on 2x2 stock (actual dimensions 1 3/8" x 1 3/8").
Posts
MFP offers¹ two styles of 4-foot length deck posts:
Hand Rails
 Top your redwood railing with MFP's hand rail¹, which features rounded corners and a "dado" or groove on the bottom for easy attachment of square and turned balusters.
Post Caps
The ultimate touch of elegance for your new deck can be achieved by crowning your deck posts with a decorative post cap.
MFP offers¹ 6 styles of redwood post caps:
- Gothic, with graceful curves rising to a flat point
- Square, with angled sides rising to a flat top
- Round, with a redwood ball
- Hatteras, with a slip-over mount and four gracefully angled sides rising to a flat top
- Newport Classic, with sides like fine crown molding and a flat top
- Newport Hi Pyramid, with a Newport style sides and a top rising to a pyramid
MFP offers¹ 5 pyramid-style post caps with redwood bases in 2 sizes:
4" x 4" Size
- Copper, a traditional material to enhance any deck
- Stainless, a modern material for contemporary deck designs
- Pewter, a unique material for long-lasting good looks
- Tiffany, a beautiful post cap in the Tiffany style perfect for decorative decks
6" x 6" Size
- Copper, a larger post cap for specialty deck designs

Stair Risers
For durable, attractive stairs ascending to your deck, MFP offers¹ redwood stair risers in 3, 4 and 5 step configurations.
Via special order, MFP can supply steel stair risers in configurations from 1 to 7 steps.
