I am looking for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) certified wood, can I buy it from your company?

MFP manufactures and distributes FSC certified redwood and Douglas-fir to select The Home Depot stores. FSC certified wood is identifiable by looking at the barcode labels stapled on the ends of the wood. If the barcode carries the FSC trademarked, tree logo, the wood is FSC certified. FSC certified wood may also be special ordered through the Pro Contractor Desk at your local The Home Depot store.

Why should I use redwood for my deck instead of an artificial material?

There are many reasons to choose redwood for your deck over artificial materials. One reason is the natural, unique beauty of redwood that usually cannot be obtained from a manufactured, artificial material. For other compelling reasons to choose redwood, please visit our Redwood vs. Other Materials page.
